Elklan Language and Learning 2-4s

Another cohort of fully-funded Elklan Language and Learning 2-4s training commences on Tuesday 17 September 2024, finishing on Tuesday 03 December 2024 (including breaks for half term) with virtual tutor-led sessions taking place weekly from 18:30 – 19:30.

We welcome Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible Suffolk Early Years practitioners and childminders.

Applicants must:

  • Be qualified at level 2 or 3 (the qualification is available at level 2 or 3 and this is determined by the Elklan tutor).
  • Be working in an Early Years setting or as a childminder, who are members of the Suffolk List of Providers (LoP)
  • Be committed to the programme and able to attend the welcome session on Tuesday 17 September 2024 and at least 8 out of 10 of the weekly sessions that follow.
  • Find time between sessions to complete any reflective and practical tasks such as online e-learning (typically you should expect to set aside around 4 hours weekly)
  • Have full support of the setting manager/committee, where applicable
  • Have access to a laptop (or similar device) with camera and microphone facility and good internet.

This cohort is limited to just 12 applicants so we can only accept one application per setting.

We will be receiving expressions of interest up until Monday 01 July 2024 at which point we will review all applications.  Our final decision will consider whether all relevant criteria to take up this fully funded offer has been met, and that you have made a solid case as to how this training will impact your setting.
