Wraparound Projects – Management Information (MI)

Wraparound Projects who have received funding as part of the expansion programme to create/expand a childcare provision by increasing capacity or opening times, are required to take part in the termly Department for Education (DfE) data collection. This is to assess the impact the funding has had on available places for children and families.

The data collection is called Management Information (MI) and will be a recurring termly exercise throughout the life of the programme.

The Autumn Term 2024 MI data collection will collect data from all providers who have or will have received funding from Local Authorities on or before 18 October 2024, and as such will have created/expanded provision by this date.

Providers receiving funding after this date will be required to provide the relevant data for future MI data collections.

The survey will have no impact on your funding agreements, it is a monitoring tool on the expansion of places and is required by DfE to report on public spend. Your data will be seen by the local authority.
