Drop-in sessions for Headteachers

Due to the positive response to recent sessions we are running some more Headteacher informal drop-in sessions on the dates below, please drop in to the one which suits you. These sessions are for you to find out more about creating or expanding wraparound at your school and discuss any queries you have before applying.

Note: sessions are not recorded and there will not be a presentation.

The national wraparound childcare programme is part of the childcare reforms announced at the 2023 Spring Budget. The government’s ambition is that by September 2026, all parents and carers of primary school-aged children who need it, will be able to access term time childcare in their local area Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm, so that parents can work.

To meet governments, aim Suffolk has been allocated capital and revenue funding to support wraparound projects. We would welcome an opportunity to engage with you to explore if your current offer could be expanded or if you don’t currently have an offer, how you can create a new wraparound provision.

Please note that wrapround provision does not necessarily need to be delivered by the school, 3rd party providers can do this for you.
