We aim to offer professional development opportunities which inspire inclusive early learning through play, by ensuring practitioners have the skills, knowledge and confidence required to understand and nurture children’s unique needs.
All of our courses have either been refreshed and updated or are brand new. We are offering a wide range of venue based, virtual classroom and in setting training options with trusted trainers. We do our best to cater for everyone’s needs by offering daytime, evening and Saturday training sessions across the whole of Suffolk.
In addition we will be offering opportunities throughout the year to access training from renowned external trainers – these will be advertised through the weekly broadcast so keep an eye on this throughout the year to avoid disappointment!
The EYFS Statutory Framework 2024 says that “Providers must ensure that people looking after children are suitable; they must have the relevant qualifications, training and have passed any required checks to fulfil their roles.” (Section 3.9) and that “Providers must support staff to undertake appropriate training and professional development opportunities to ensure they offer quality learning and development experiences for children that continually improves.” (section 3.26)
