Request LA support for a school-based nursery application
As part of the Department for Education (DfE) application process for capital funding to develop school-based nursery provision, schools need to seek agreement from the Head of Early Years and Childcare Service (Christina Lewis) and the Head of Place Planning (Pete Mumford). Following further information from the DfE we have now put a simple process in place.

Apply for LA support for a school based nursery application
The form will ask the following information:
- How many nursery places you are planning to create?
- For what age of children?
- What spare building capacity are you intending to use?
- What, if any, impact will this have on the places available for children from YR to Y6?
- Name of your School
- Your full name
- Your contact telephone number
- Your email address (we will use this email to respond to you).
With this information we will be able to make a swift appraisal and inform you if your application can be supported.
