Guidance for Professionals – Early Education Funding

The documents below are to support professional colleagues such as Social Workers, Health Visitors, Family Support Practitioners and Family Hub staff in applying for funding for:

• Early Years Families First Funding
• 2 year old children to access Early Education.
• 3 & 4 year old universal offer for Early Education.
• 9 months to 2 year olds placed with foster carers who are working outside their fostering responsibility, may be eligible for 15 hours Early Education (30 hours from September 2025).
• 3 & 4 year olds placed with foster carer who is working outside of fostering, may be eligible for 30 hours Early Education.
