SENDIASS sessions for parents and carers

Booking is open for a new session for parents and carers, recently coproduced with families and early years practitioners. This explores the process of support in early years settings for children with special educational needs and how parents are involved. We will also explore support for children with disabilities and medical needs.

Anyone who registers will have access to a pre-recording of the session to watch on demand and linked resources. Please register for sessions via the below links.

Working with schools Online session 25th September 2023 10am – 12 noon

In our recent survey, young people told us that they would like to have more information about how to prepare for adulthood from an early stage. We like our training and information to be coproduced with families, so we’re offering three drop-in opportunities for parents, carers and young people to tell us what kind of information you’d like us to put together around this subject.

There are two evening online opportunities and one face-to-face in Lowestoft. We are also aiming to have further meetings with groups of young people in educational settings listen to gain their views. These are not training or advice sessions. Families are welcome to join for 10/15 minutes to share their ideas or stay for longer. Practitioners who work with families are welcome too.
