The discretionary grant vouchers for the summer holiday have now been issued to eligible families and we are in the process of reviewing those which are yet to be redeemed. Could we please ask all schools to encourage your recipient families to redeem their vouchers before the expiry date as once they have expired, these cannot be reissued.

We are aware that, within the new process, schools are unable to see which vouchers are yet to be redeemed, however, could we please ask that you send a generic message to all families in receipt of free school meals to remind them to redeem any outstanding vouchers. If you wish to be informed of the families yet to redeem their vouchers, then please contact us directly for this information.

To encourage voucher uptake further, if vouchers are still showing as live on our system by the end of September, we will send out a bulk reminder email to families.

We also would like to give you early notice that the voucher supplier company ‘Sodexo Motivation Solutions UK Limited’ has informed us that they will be changing their company name to ‘Pluxee UK LTD’. The process of issuing the discretionary grant vouchers will remain the same and this is purely a name change for the provider. We anticipate this change will be in place for the October half-term issue of vouchers.
