We are keen to hear from children and young people with SEND in Suffolk to work with us in developing a county wide outcomes framework, that is used to measure how well we are doing in improving children’s outcomes in Suffolk.

If you are interested, we would love to visit your school and listen to the views of children and young people with special education needs and disabilities in Suffolk, who could become part of the wider Young Peron’s Network in Suffolk.

We want to work with CYP with SEND in developing a county wide children’s outcomes framework, that is used to measure how well we are doing in improving children’s outcomes in Suffolk.

If you have a group of young people that we can visit for a morning or afternoon, to meet and work with please let us know by emailing [email protected]

From the school we need:

1. A room, with a few tables and chairs.
2. A group of willing participants that would like to help shape the future of SEND.
3. A member of school staff who know the participants who can help support.

This forms part of our consultation for the new SEND Strategy, our consultation period starts from 29 September 2023 to 10 November 2023.

This conference is for Headteachers and school/SEND leaders. The focus of this conference will be the Leadership of SEND in schools and Ofsted.
