The National Fraud Initiative Data Matching Exercise

Suffolk County Council is participating in the Cabinet Office’s anti-fraud initiative, known as the National Fraud Initiative (NFI).

Suffolk County Council (SCC) is required by law to protect the public funds it administers. 
 
The National Fraud Initiative (NFI) is a data matching exercise run by the Cabinet Office bi-annually to help prevent and detect fraud through sharing information with other bodies. Details can be found here.
 
To comply with NFI requirements, SCC will submit the requested data to the Cabinet Office in October 2022.  No action is required from you to do this.
