Booking is open for the following online sessions – Our popular EHC needs assessment webinar explains the purpose, threshold, and process of an EHC needs assessment and how you and your child are involved. This was coproduced separately with both parents and carers and practitioners, and all are welcome to book.

EHC Needs Assessments Online session 11 October 2023 6pm – 7:30pm

Booking is also open for our online session Preparing for the transition to primary school. Parents and carers helped coproduce this session which will be supported by a member of the Early Years and Childcare team. We will explore what kind of information is helpful to find out from and share with school, ideas to help prepare for the start of term and considerations for children with SEND.

Our online interactive session for parents and carers explores practical tips and solution focused approaches for working with schools around your child’s SEND. This is a longer session at the request of parents to allow time for more discussion.

Working with Schools – Online session – 25 September 2023 – 10am – 12 noon

Also, three drop-in coproduction opportunities where parents, carers and young people can tell us what kind of information they would like us to put together in the future to help families prepare for adulthood. These are not training or advice sessions.

And a new session for parents and carers, recently coproduced with families and early years practitioners, which explores the process of support in early years settings for children with special educational needs and how parents are involved.
