Schools Accountancy Team (SAT) provides the statutory framework (Scheme for the Financing of Schools) for Suffolk maintained schools including PRUs and special schools to enable schools to have robust financial management. Each year a quantative risk assessment  of all schools is carried out using the data submitted in the budget and strategic plans. This identifies which schools require monitoring and intervention from SAT including those in defecit or deemed high risk.
