All ECTs starting at your school in September, will need to be registered with an Appropriate Body (likely SCC) as well as the DfE, outlining your planned induction. The DfE is managing their registration via a new online service/portal: 

• if your school has an ECT this year, your Induction Tutor will receive an email from the DfE on 10 May to advise how to use it to register new ECTs 
• if you are employing an ECT for the first time, your school will receive an email in the weeks after 10 May detailing how you will register an Induction Tutor and any ECTs (keep an eye out for it via admin/headteacher addresses)
