Jot the friendly robot

The CYP Engagement Hub team at Suffolk County Council has now finished sending out ‘Jot the friendly robot’ resource packs to all primary schools in East and West Suffolk.

Jot the friendly robot is a new campaign that the Engagement Hub team are delivering in partnership with NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB), to assist primary schools, and parent and carers to start a conversation with children about emotional wellbeing, and the importance of talking about our feelings.

As part of the campaign Jot the robot will give 15 wellbeing tips to children about things that they can do to make them feel better when they are feeling anxious or worried.

Each month we are releasing a wellbeing tip animation from Jot the robot online. The latest Jot animation looks at the importance of talking about how we are feeling with others. You can view the new animation here: https://youtu.be/b28ju3CW6fg

We are now arranging Jot the robot building workshops with primary schools based in East and West Suffolk (including special education schools) for the autumn term. The workshop will last approx. 45-60 minutes and is for a group of up to 12 pupils’ (aged 4-11 years). Primary schools can contact the Engagement Hub team for more details and to book a Jot workshop at: [email protected]
