Are you a Mainstream Primary who would like a free evidence-based Maths Intervention programme to help pupils from September-December 2024, who are not yet at Age Related Expectation for Maths? The pupils need to be currently in Year 1 and will be supported in the forthcoming Autumn Term in Year 2. The Delivering Better Value (DBV) Raising Achievement for Suffolk Programme Team are looking to recruit 5 more suitable schools for their September Cohort. The intervention will run for 12 weeks and must happen daily, facilitated by a trained adult for 20 mins.

All resources and staff training are provided free of charge and you will be given the ongoing support of an Assistant Psychologist throughout your involvement. This intervention is suitable for pupils who are currently in Year 1, who are working well below age related expectations in Maths, with limited foundational skills. However, they need to be able to access the numbers 1 to 9. If you have pupils that meet this criteria, the DBV Programme Team would be happy to talk to you in more detail to see if your school might be suitable.
