Wellbeing in Education Mental Health Network

This informative and supportive network has been running for over a year now, and meetings have covered a wide range of topics.  Our network continues to grow and develop across the whole of Suffolk.  One or two of the sessions have been focused primarily on the role of Mental Health Leads but the majority are applicable to anyone in education settings with an interest in the topic being addressed.

Our next virtual meeting is on 6th June from 3:45 to 4:45; topic to be confirmed and included in a future Headlines article.    Please email:  [email protected] if you would like to attend (there is no cost attached).

Newly uploaded to our site is the Suffolk Mental Health Lead Example Job Description and the slide deck used to introduce and address this topic: Slides to introduce work on the MHL role

In addition, the slides kindly shared by our Psychology in Schools colleagues to support our understanding of the impact of trauma can now be found here:  NSFT slides on the impact of trauma

Lastly, don’t forget to listen to the wide range of wellbeing topics, strategies and approaches addressed in our Suffolk WiE Podcast series; new podcasts are regularly added. A big thank you to those who have contributed by sharing their work as part of this podcast.
