Knife Crime

Following on from Op Septre the Schools Team have an Input surrounding Knife Crime that is suitable for From Year 6 upwards.

A Spotlight on PC Lisa Yorke

This term has been really varied and I along with 2 colleagues rolled out the new Mini Police Programme in the South. The programme consists of a 7-week programme – 4 Police led and 3 School led sessions aimed at Year 5 children. During the first session the children are provided with a Mini Police Tabard, baseball hat and a pocket notebook. Over the 7 weeks the children will cover various topics from ASB, Hate Crime and Road Safety. At the end of the programme Year 5 are presented with a certificate and pencil. We are hoping to roll out the programme to other schools in the Autumn Term… so watch this space!

I have also been taking part in Crucial Crew and continuing my 16+ inputs.
