This training comprises two practical workshops to familiarise SENDCos, Classroom Teachers and Teaching Assistants with how to use the assistive tools in Clicker 8/7 and Clicker Sets to support learners who have difficulty recording at their ability level in the classroom. Attendees will need to bring a laptop with Clicker 8/7 to the training session and be able to connect to the O2 internet service.
The first workshop demonstrates how to use the following tools: spell checker, predictive text, voice recorder, Sentence Sets, Connect Sets, Word Banks, Clicker Board, Talk Sets and Matching Sets.

The second workshop will give attendees the opportunity to create personalised resources for learners using the tools already demonstrated in the first session. The specialist SpLD teachers will support attendees to make these and demonstrate a range of pre-made Clicker Sets.
