Home-Start in Suffolk are once again inviting all Suffolk Primary Schools to take part in their annual Character Creations competition which has been supported by Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Embroidery and Families Suffolk Magazine and championed this year by their Charity Patron and best-selling Author Anthony Horowitz CBE and Suffolk Author Rob Parker.
Anthony Horowitz is one of the most prolific writers working in the UK – juggling writing books, TV series, films, plays and journalism. Anthony has written over 50 books, including bestselling teen spy series Alex Rider, which is now a major television series on Amazon. The Diamond Brothers is Anthony’s latest series of humorous children’s detective books, recounting the adventures of the world’s worst private detective. Anthony will be getting involved with this year’s competition again introducing children to his latest book ‘Where Seagulls Dare’.
Home-Start in Suffolk are also pleased to have local author and Suffolk Primary School teacher Rob Parker involved in this year’s competition. Rob has recently published his own book, ‘Stink the Sloth’ beautifully illustrated by his wife Lucy Hawkley. Rob has kindly agreed to share his book about friendship and camaraderie for this year’s competition.
