Language games to play at home; a relaxed online session hosted by SENDIASS and presented by specialist teachers from the Speech, Language and Communication service. This session will explore ideas for supporting children with these needs to develop their language and will be repeated in the evening too.

Parents and carers helped coproduce this session which will be supported by a member of the Early Years and Childcare team. We will explore what kind of information is helpful to find out from and share with school, ideas to help prepare for the start of term and considerations for children with SEND.
Anyone who registers will have access to a pre-recording of the session to watch on demand and linked resources.

Understanding Challenging Behaviour in Autism

Our next face-to-face SEND session will be in Sudbury. This will explore the process of support for pupils with special educational needs and how parents and pupils are involved. We will also look at school responsibilities for pupils with disabilities and medical needs. Tea and coffee will be available but no creche facilities.
