The Post-16 Travel Policy was approved by Suffolk County Council (SCC) Cabinet on 21 May 2024 and published on the Suffolkonboard website on 24 May 2024.

We would be grateful if School Leaders could please send this 2024-2025 Post-16 Travel letter (which contains important information) to all Year 11 students, to help them plan their Post-16 pathways for September 2024.

We have contacted the parents/carers of Year 11 students who currently receive SCC funded school travel directly because we hold their contact email addresses. However, we do not hold the contact details for those who do not currently receive SCC funded school travel so we would appreciate your assistance in distributing the letter to these families please.

Parents/carers and students can find lots of useful information about getting to school or college on the Suffolkonboard website. They can also contact the Customer Service Team for advice on 0345 606 6067 or by emailing [email protected].

We will also be in touch directly with Post-16 provisions to ask them what bus routes or support with travel they will be providing for their students from September 2024. We are required to publish this on the Suffolkonboard website.
