In December 2023 Suffolk Constabulary introduced a new Policing Model with Community Police Officers now having responsibility for school engagement.

This means the previous School/CYP Liaison Officers and PCSO’s no longer have overall coverage for this area of work.

Two Police Officers will have an oversight for schools’ engagement for Suffolk and will direct and assist the Community Police Officers.

These two officers will collate schools’ engagement data; refresh the OneCopStop Police Schools inputs; have input in the IFYAP process; liaise with partners around events such as Crucial Crew; plus, more.

The old schools’ email address is still currently active [email protected] however it is for the Community Police Officers to be the new point of contact and emails into this address will be directed to the appropriate officer.
