Suffolk SENDIASS provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support to children and young people with SEND, and their parents and carers.
Booking is open for our upcoming online sessions.
1. SEN support for pupils in mainstream schools with coordination difficulties. (opens PDF flyer)
This informal session will be supported by a Paediatric Occupational Therapist from the Integrated Community Paediatric Services, and we will look at the cycle of SEN support, how parents and pupils are involved and explore examples of support which schools can reasonably offer.
Anyone who registers will have access to a pre-recording of the session to watch on demand and linked resources.
10th March 2022 10am – 11:30am
2. Sharing and enjoying books together. (opens PDF flyer)
Booking is also open for a relaxed online session, hosted by SENDIASS, where members of the Suffolk Specialist Education Service for pupils with speech, language and communication needs will be exploring ideas and language to help parents and carers share and enjoy books together with their child.
This Sharing and Enjoying Books Together session aims to help children with any special educational needs, and of any age, to enjoy the experience of reading and help develop their language and attention. This is being offered instead of a second Language Games session.
The session is being held in the morning and repeated in the evening.
March 14th 10am – 11am and repeated 6pm – 7pm

Anyone who books will receive a pre-recording of the webinar to watch at their own pace along with a suite of additional resources.
3rd March 2022 6pm – 7:30pm
