Suffolk TA Network Annual Face-to-face Conference 2024
The Suffolk TA Network annual conference 2024 will take place on Wednesday 16th October at Trinity Park Conference and Events Centre, Ipswich, between 9.00 and 15.00 on the theme of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), specifically dyslexia and dyscalculia. Bookings for the conference can be made through Suffolk CPD, at a cost to schools of £15 per participant.
The conference will open with a keynote speech by Arran Smith, entitled ‘What is Assistive Technology?’. This will be followed by a series of SpLD themed workshops and the conference will end with a panel discussion with a selection of specialist speakers (please access the programme here). All participants will attend the keynote, panel discussion and one of the ‘How TAs can support Class Teachers effectively using the Judith Carter: The 4 Functions of Learning Support’ sessions and then will choose their other sessions from the range available on a first come first served basis.
