Children’s Mental Health Week 5-11 February

Every year Children’s Mental Health Week (CMHW) sees hundreds of schools, children, and young people taking part to encourage young people to reach out and not face mental health problems alone.

This year’s Children’s Mental Health Week theme is ‘My Voice Matters’, which is about getting schools to empower children and young people to express themselves.

How can your school/setting take part in Children’s Mental Health Week?

Go to the Children’s Mental Health Week website, download their school resource pack which includes assembly slides and class activities, and get your school involved in celebrating the importance of children’s mental health. You can also go to TheSource website CMHW page

Don’t forget to navigate young people to TheSource for support

Throughout Children’s Mental Health Week, please help promote and navigate pupils to TheSource website (thesource.me.uk/wellbeing) which is the ‘go to’ place for young people in Suffolk to find emotional wellbeing information, advice and support services.
