The Schools Engagement Coordinator will be running Portal Know-How Webinars this term and at the start of the Autumn Term for any individuals or whole schools who would welcome the input but may be struggling with capacity for the 121 sessions that she has reached out about.
These are generic sessions for Suffolk schools and will be delivered online so these can reach across the county. During the session, attendees will be given a guided tour of the portal to get a feel for the content and how to navigate it to meet the needs of your setting. There will be time for Q&A and attendees will receive an aide memoire after the event, so there is no need to make notes, just sit back, absorb the information, and enjoy!
Whilst attending this webinar is by no means “essential” to be able to use the portal, having this short input is likely to save individual users/schools time upstream in terms of learning about the content of the portal and how to navigate it and use it to its full potential.
June 2022:
To tie in with RSE Day on 30th June 2022 and conclude Summer Term RSHE Month, the Schools Engagement Coordinator will be running a RSHE Portal Know-How Webinar after school on this date.
This session will be on Thursday 30th June 2022, 1530 (for a 1545 start) – 1700 via MS Teams.
Sadly, it will not be possible to record this session as the file is too large to send through school servers.

Autumn Term 2022:
There will be further opportunities for individuals or whole schools to attend this training at the start if Autumn Term 2022/3 on the recommended PD Days on 1st and 2nd September 2022 if any schools would like to factor this into their PD Day planning. These sessions will run several times a day (the content will be the same) to suit the needs of a range of schools. This is timed to coincide with schools welcoming new staff and changes in leadership roles at the start of the new academic year.
