Hepatitis A – Signs and Symptoms to look out for due to an outbreak in Ipswich area

We would like to inform you that cases of Hepatitis A have been identified in a school setting in Ipswich. Vaccination programme is underway which will break the chain of infection and limit any further spread. The risk to the wider community is considered to be low.

We would like to raise awareness about Hepatitis A symptoms, causes, treatment and what we need to do to control and prevent further spread. Please see the following factsheet produced by UKHSA.
