‘ItCanWait’- is a free Road Safety Package focusing on mobile phone distraction, designed by Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service.
This evaluated road safety package can be delivered to all educational establishments and youth groups in Suffolk, free of charge.
A few key details of the ‘ItCanWait’ package:
- Designed for 15-18 year olds, this is an externally evaluated package (report available upon request)
- It focuses predominantly on driver mobile phone distraction and the dangers of such a distraction
- Takes 1.5 hours to deliver
- Incorporates behavioural change techniques
- Delivered by Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service personnel, to group sizes no larger than 30 students (this is due to the session’s interactive design)
- We can deliver multiple sessions, free of charge to cover whole year groups if desired
- We require a room with access to a projector screen and speakers for this session
