Children from UK Armed Forces Families – Education Survey

The SCiP Alliance Community Consultation survey is live and available here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SCiPAlliance2022. We would be very pleased for your support with the following:

  1. Please complete the survey yourself
  2. Please share the survey details and link as widely as possible with your contacts, so we can get as many responses as possible. The SCiP Alliance team have shared some suggested text below, which you might like to use when distributing the survey via your comms channels, email, or phone conversations.

The survey will be open until Thursday 16th June.  The timings are tight to allow the consultants, Tiller Research, sufficient time to analyse the responses before the SCiP strategy day on 7th July.

Suggested text for dissemination:

The SCiP Alliance is a community of all those working to help Armed Forces children of all ages thrive. Please share your views to inform the Alliance’s priorities as we develop our 2022-25 strategy together.

The SCiP Alliance Management Group comprises diverse perspectives from across the UK and beyond, including serving and ex-Armed Forces personnel, families and children, schools, colleges, universities, local authorities, charities, funders, governments and other agencies. We are leading the 2022 community consultation to hear from the whole sector about your priorities for supporting Armed Forces children and young people, as well as to reflect on how the Alliance can enhance its support to you.

Please take a few minutes to complete the online survey.

We want to hear from everyone with a stake in helping Service children thrive, whatever your role or organisation. Thousands of people do amazing things to help Armed Forces children, whether it’s your whole role or only a very small part, a paid job or volunteering. We want to understand the challenges you face, the successes you’ve had and the things that would help you enhance your work further.

Our 2018 consultation told us that people wanted to be better connected: with each other, with evidence and with support. Now we want to know how well the Alliance has helped you do that, if those priorities remain, and how we might build on what we have achieved together so far.

Please spare a few minutes to take the survey and share the survey links with anyone else you know working to help Armed Forces children thrive.
