Cambridge Maths Hub works with schools and their teachers to support the effective teaching of maths. Our region includes Cambridgeshire, West Suffolk and West Norfolk. Schools join us by leading or participating in a Work Group. Six or seven schools work collaboratively to address an area of maths provision.
Teaching for mastery is our main programme for both primary and secondary schools. We also offer the opportunity to work with other teachers through these programmes: year 5-8 continuity, post 16 provision, Early Career Teachers, non-specialist secondary teachers or EYFS early pattern.
More information can be found on the Cambridge Maths Hub website. All the school development work is free and some is funded by the DfE to help with cover costs.
Around three quarters of the schools in the region work with us. If you haven’t yet participated in a project, please take a look at the website (or follow us on twitter @CamMathsHub) to see if there are options that would benefit maths teaching in your school.
