Please complete the survey by the deadline of Tuesday 14 May 2024.

Please be reminded that completion of the 175/157 safeguarding self-assessment is mandatory for every school regardless of status. This includes all academies and independent schools.

You will notice that the platform for the survey has changed this year. This is in response to feedback from school leaders, DSLs, and governors that the option to save and continue later would be useful.

These are the main points to remember when using the ‘save and continue later’ function:

• The email address that you input at the beginning of the survey will be where your continuation link is sent to when you click ‘save and continue later’.
• An automatic email will be sent to the email address with a link which will take you to your most recent progress.
• If you have used the ‘save and continue later’ button more than once, you will need to access the most recent email generated to follow the correct link which will take you to your most up to date progress.
• There is no limit to how many times you can ‘save and continue later’.
• Your submission will only be considered as received upon full completion and submission of the whole survey.
• Please ensure you have completed the whole survey by the deadline date of Tuesday, 14 May 2024.
