Supporting EAL Pupils
Please find below some resources that you may find useful to support pupils with EAL in your school.
2024 SATs overview spreadsheet
The Assessment Team have created a spreadsheet and video to support school leaders in getting a quick indication of SATs results.
2023 SATs progress spreadsheet
The Assessment Team have created a spreadsheet that will give an indicative progress score for the 2023 SATs papers. The spreadsheet converts KS1 results (Prior Attainment Group) and gives the National Average for each PAG. The progress is then the difference between the pupils own KS2 result and the National Average KS2 result for their Prior Attainment Group.
