Architect and TV presenter George Clarke, his charity MOBIE, housebuilder Lovell and Suffolk County Council are inviting the young people of Suffolk to submit their ideas for new sustainable homes and places for the county.
Lovell and MOBIE are offering to hold free workshops in the county in the New Year where students can learn more about housing and sustainable development and the new Young Persons’ Design Challenge.
The challenge is asking young people aged 5-18 to design homes and green spaces for a site in Newmarket that is good for people and good for the planet. MOBIE has run design challenges for young people across the country but this is the first in East Anglia.
