Suffolk SENDIASS provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support to children and young people with SEND, and their parents and carers. Booking is open for our upcoming online sessions.
1. SEN support for pupils with cognition and learning needs.
Still time to book on our online session for parents and carers. This informal session will be supported by the lead teacher for the Cognition and Learning specialist education service, and we will look at the cycle of SEN support, how parents and pupils are involved and explore examples of support which schools can reasonably offer.

2. Language games to play at home. Session one – developing listening and attention.
Also, still time for parents and carers to book on the first in a short series of language games online sessions where members of the specialist education service for children with speech, language and communication needs will explore simple games to play at home to help develop their child’s language. SENDIASS is hosting this session while the specialist teachers present.
The sessions are offered in the morning and repeated in the evening.
This session was first delivered in January 2021.
