This week is ‘Children’s Mental Health Week’, which raises awareness of the importance of children’s mental health, encouraging children and young people to talk about how they are feeling and to seek support.
This year’s theme for Children’s Mental Health Week is ‘Let’s Connect’, which is looking at how people with positive connections to family, friends and others often experience better mental health than those who are less well connected.
The Children’s Mental Health Week Place2Be website has lots of activities and resources for teachers and pupils to join in with exploring the topic of how we connect with others. Go to: www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk
The Source website for young people in Suffolk, are joining in with Children’s Mental Health Week by posting tips on their social media channels to young people about what can help you stay connected to others. Visit www.thesource.me.uk/CMHW23
