The SCC Model Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy has been updated and is available to schools on the Suffolk Learning website.

 identify what has been added/changed or moved

The main updates are:

• The previously standalone full guidance on child-on-child sexual violence and sexual harassment has been incorporated into KCSiE in Part Five of the document;
• There is a real emphasis on opportunities to teach safeguarding;

The need for schools to have a policy/procedure for dealing with low level concerns about staff behaviour that do not meet the ‘harm threshold’ for referral to the LADO.
