Are you a Secondary school who would like to access a free evidence-based Maths Intervention programme from September-December 2024, to help pupils you may have who are working at a Year 1 level for Maths? The pupils can be in KS3 or KS4, and need to be able to access numbers 1 to 9 (i.e. count from 1-9).
The Delivering Better Value (DBV) Programme Team are looking to pilot this successful maths intervention to see how best to implement it in secondary school settings across Suffolk. The maths intervention is proven to help children working below age-related expectations to develop their fluency in foundational maths skills. The intervention will run for 12 weeks and must happen daily, facilitated by a trained adult for around 20 minutes.
In exchange for your involvement, you will receive free staff training, free resources, the ongoing support of an Assistant Psychologist throughout, including in-person visits, free pre and post assessments with analysis, and an opportunity to help inform implementation for future schools.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line SECONDARY MATHS PILOT if you are interested. The deadline is 7 June 2024.
