You’re invited to join a webinar on Wednesday January 10 at 10am, for the launch of the Serious Violence Prevention Fund. This fund has been established to support community-based initiatives aimed at preventing and reducing serious violence. It will provide opportunities to explore new and innovative approaches to tackle serious violence, allowing for valuable insights to inform potential future programmes.
The funding has been made available by the Home Office in partnership with Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Community Foundation.
The fund launches on Monday January 8 2024, offering grants of up to £15,000 to community and voluntary sector organisations, public bodies and educational settings. Funding will be allocated quarterly after monitoring is received.
The objectives of the fund are:
- To prevent and reduce serious violence
- To improve outcomes for young people
- To foster safe communities
Please join us for a short session where you will hear more about the aims of the programme and the grant application process.
