For information | All schools
ASB Awareness Week 2024 runs from 18 to 24 November 2024. It encourages communities to take a stand against anti-social behaviour and highlights the actions that those experiencing it can take.
There are lots of ASB-related resources available to schools free of charge on the Pol-Ed website to help you in supporting this campaign week.
Please view this lesson list for suggested ASB-related lessons available on Pol-Ed. All lessons include presentations, teaching notes and any required printable resources.
A reminder of the sign-up process for Pol-Ed is below, for any schools or teaching staff who are not yet signed up.
How to sign-up
There is a simple sign-up process:
1) Nominate an overall administrator for your school.
2) Ask them to visit the Pol-Ed website.
3) Click on register now button (top right corner).
4) Select ‘Suffolk Constabulary’ when asked to choose your force.
5) Complete the sign-up form.
6) Administrator can then add additional users for the school.
If you need to know which district/ward your school is in, please visit the Suffolk Constabulary website and enter the school postcode in the ‘Find your area’ box. This will take you through to the Community Policing Team for your area – the area at the top of the page is your district/ward for the purposes of Pol-Ed. Please contact [email protected] with any queries.
There is no cost to any Suffolk school to access Pol-Ed resources, access has already been purchased by Suffolk Constabulary for all schools in Suffolk.
Alternatively, if you would like support from your local policing team to deliver inputs in school in relation to ASB during ASB Awareness Week, please get in touch via [email protected] or directly with your local officer if you have their contact details already.
