The Delivering Better Value (DBV) Team have supported a cohort of Suffolk Primary schools to achieve amazing results using our free evidence-based interventions, targeted to help children who are working well below age-related expectations for Reading/Writing/Maths/Spelling. Would you be interested in being part of our January 2025 Cohort?  

After 3 months of being part of one of our interventions, Suffolk Primary school pupils in Cohort 1 have, on average, increased their age equivalent scores in the following areas: 

• Maths problem solving skills by 12 months.
• Numeracy skills by 7 months.
• Reading comprehension skills by over 10 months. 
• Reading accuracy skills by 9 months.
• Spelling skills by 11 months.

The DBV Team will support you deliver one evidence-based intervention per term, as part of your graduated response. This will be aligned to a priority for your school to improve, helping you achieve against your school’s improvement plan. You will receive:

• Free training for as many staff as you require.
• All the physical resources provided.
• The ongoing telephone/email support of a DBV Specialist, who will visit your school on four occasions to support implementation and to assess your pupils.
• Data analysis reports for pupils and school impact provided for you.

Headteachers/SENCos/Maths Leads/Literacy Leads: please attend an online presentation hosted by the DBV Team to see if it DBV would suit your school on either:

• 10 September 2024 (1-2pm)
• 20 September 2024 (3.30-4.30pm)
